I am Jacks cold sweat.
Everything feels out of balance right now. I think the world has changed and i'm lagging behind. I've decided that one of my problems is that i don't know what i want. I don't do what i think i want to because i'm to lazy or shy. It seems everthing I do is only to waste time. I need to get rid of my hobbies. |

| Windows is AWESOME!!!! |
[Sep. 28th, 2004|07:31 pm] |
I had the best experience of my life on sunday!! When I got home from work(rocking the DQ) I found that my dad had installed Service Package 2 for Windows XP(the XP stands for Extra Poopy). As I tried to start my computer to do my english homework I discovered that my computer wouldn't start window. It would boot up to the windows loading screen the restart. Who ever thought that windows would crash? Not this guy *points to himself*. After I exhaust all of the java in my veins trying to reinstall windows or use the recovery consol I succumb to sleep. The next day I find that I have to reformat my hard drive and do so. For those of you who still think a slide rule is pretty snazzy reformatting erases your entire harddrive. You have to install everything again. Even Windows Extra Poopy. I had such a swell time that I am writing Microsoft a letter telling them that they should have windows crash more often in the next upgrade so more people can share my joy. THANKS A LOT MICROSOFT!!!!
p.s. get a mac |

| Yay for summer jobs |
[Jun. 7th, 2004|09:04 pm] |
|
This summer at its very least will be very productive. If nothing else the TWO jobs I got should provide a sufficient flow for all of my needs. The first job, dairy queen. Thats right, rockin the visor and the blizzard machine. Its a decent job. Some good experience for future jobs and transcripts. The other job(which I stole from Mike Galapa) is supervising consrtuction. Writing down who shows up when at the site and then writing a report at the end of the day about what happens. And plenty of spare time. So in a few words or less, I'm gunna be getting paid $8 and hour to do my summer assignments, $12 for overtime too. To rub it im my sisters face. Shes a sophmore in college next year at UVA and applied for about 50 jobs and now works at food lion and blimpie. I apply one place and get two jobs. I love it. |

| My Life, a look at whats to come. |
[Apr. 28th, 2004|07:23 pm] |
|
Well I think there is a time in everybody's life where they sit down, or stand up and decide what to make of themselves. Some people start wars, overthrow governments, or sit in a box their entire life. I've decided that instead of flowing along with the waters of life I will travel upstream and go where my desires take me. Next year i'm going to drop as many AP classes as I can and am going to focus on playing guitar, and getting a job. I've come to the revelation that college is a great experience, although it doesn't matter all that much which one you go to. I don't care if I go to UVA, Tech, or ODU. As long as I learn what I need to and enjoy myself in the process. I think I might study some type of engineering, possibly mechanical but I don't care all that much. All that matter is getting a decent job. One graduated I think I'll work at some sort of engineering firm for 5-10 years. While at night playing with a band and perhaps making some money doing so. It is questionable if I'll ever be that good at guitar though. I'm not sure of this but I might pick up some vices along the way. I don't really want to but I could very easily see it happening. After I leave that job, I think I'll either start up or buy my own recording studio/record company. Its just something I've always wanted to do. I may find the right girl for me along the way, I might not. If I do, cool, if not, oh well what can I do. I think I'll live in an apartment of sorts for a while, I've never been big on cutting the grass. My car will just be some small sedan or compact thingy that gets good gas mileage. I reckon that I'll be dead or dying in my early 60's. By the time I get that old, I'm going to stop taking an medication that I'm on and eat all the crap that my belly can hold. My worse fear is being old senile, barely living, and alone. In light of my date of departure, I think I'll retire in my early 50's. So I'll have time to travel and return to Europe, if I haven't already done so before then.
If you just read all that, I salute you. To might delight you spent a few minutes thinking about me....so I win....Ha....HAHAHA
In all reality I'm probably just going to take over the world or something simple like that. |

| | Modest Mouse- Karma Payment Plan | ] | This weekend has been a basic teenage weekend, and I loved every minute of it. I'm so used to putting up with crap and being up to my neck in stuff to do. I went out friday night and hung out with some friends, even thought the entertainment wasn't that good. Saturday I got my eagle project signed off and went to Stephen Merits party. It was awesome and I wish I could have spent the night like all the other cool kids but its a hard knox life in the Cochran residence. I then procede to stay up to 3:30 watch some horror movie on sci fi. I loved it! Especially when ever sound the house made when I was trying to sleep made me jump. After sleeping to 11am, which I rarely get to do, I just sat around being lazy. So in conclusion, minus a few minor things, life kicks ass. |

| THE STORY OF SIVART |
[Jul. 5th, 2003|08:53 pm] |
Once upon a time there was a a boy between the ages of 15 and 17. He was a rather tall and lanky fellow, and was known far and wide. To keep his identity secret lets just call him Sivart. Chapter 1 One day Sivart was riding his steed around the countryside killing dragons and fierce todlers when he came upon a village he had not known. He went into the town to discover it was owned by a lady called Louise. Sivart began to explore the village and discovered it to be not the innocent village he had thought, but instead a cruel plot by louise to ensnare passing men and forcing them to do her will. Sivart began to notice louise's aid, Malvie trailing him, and he began to worry. Many a beast he had vanquished, but never had he fought a foe as formidable as this louise, much less spoken to a girl with out stammering. Though fearful for his life, Sivart had no choice but to stay in the local Inn. The thing that scared Sivart the most was that except for Malvie and Louise, it seemed all of the inhabitants where male. Those males where also in an almost trance-like state. As Sivart lay down in his bed at the Inn, he slowly began to fall asleep, watching the door. His sword never leaveing his hand. |

 | If I were a work of art, I would be Salvador Dali's Persistence of Memory. I am a surreal landscape composed of several disjointed and bizarre components. I like to keep an eye on the time, although the very concept is fluid for me. People are never sure what they are seeing when they look at me. Which work of art would you be? The Art Test |
